Tom McCutcheon

Tom was a student excavator on the Upper Forge project in the summer of 2005. He was studying archaeology at Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario. Although he worked on all aspects of the site, he developed an interest in the range of drying floor tiles that were used in the eighteenth century malthouse. He developed a typology of these tiles, probably the first time this has been done in England.
